I created this collection to look like entries in an old herbarium journal. I think too often the fancy flowers get all the attention. So with this I chose subjects that weren’t so fancy. Even often unloved. My childhood yard was full of wood sorrel and dandelions and clover. To most they’re common weeds. But to me they’re my childhood. This collection is my childhood.
